Fairfax Station North II Bathroom Renovation
As part of a complete basement renovation, an existing bathroom underwent a total transformation. By maintaining the original bathroom’s generous footprint, we were able to focus the budget on high-end finishes with an eclectic-traditional aesthetic. Handcrafted blue tiles create a vibrant focal point against the timeless elegance of honed marble floors. The vanity’s traditional silhouette is balanced by contemporary brushed gold fixtures, creating a space that feels both established and modern. A new pocket door from an adjacent bedroom creates an ensuite experience, while easy access for guests was retained via a door from the main hall. A few strategic changes such as enlarging the shower, removing dated soffits, and streamlining a linen closet, dramatically opened up the room to create a light and airy retreat.
